How to delete files by date
To delete files by date, you can customize the file search according to one or more file properties, such as file date, size, type and location. The 'Search Results' will contain files that include all the properties you specify.
To delete files:
1. Open the 'Delete files' window.
2. Set the 'Search' criteria.
Date
To find files by date:
Specify if you need to find files by the 'created date', 'modified date' or 'accessed date'.
To narrow your search, you can specify if you look for files before, after or on a specified date or you can set the date range.
Select if you need to find files by 'date' or 'date and time' range.
Size
You can look for files larger or smaller than the specified size or set the size range.
Search Locations
By clicking the 'Add' button you can choose folders and disks where you want to search.
3. Click the 'Find' button.
4. Delete files by date
By clicking the headings that appear above the Search Results list, you can sort files in the search results that makes it easy to find and delete files you need.
To delete files, select the necessary files in the 'Search Results' window and click 'Delete'.
Note: Files will be deleted from your computer bypassing the Recycle Bin
